Important compatibility note.
1. The kettle must be stove-safe / suitable for direct heating (per the kettle manufacturer).
2. The base should be flat and sit stably on the glass-ceramic surface to ensure even heat distribution.
3. Avoid kettles with a rounded/ring base, uneven bottom, feet, or unstable contact.
4. Porcelain (fine china) kettles are not recommended. -
Important Safety & Care Notes (Spills / Cleaning).
1. This cooktop is designed for heating cookware—not for exposure to liquids. Avoid spills and do not allow water/tea to enter the side gaps or vents.
2. If water/tea is spilled on the glass surface, turn off the power immediately and remove the cookware carefully. Wipe up the liquid with a soft cotton cloth (slightly damp is needed) only when it is safe to do so, then dry the surface completely before the next use.
3. Do not place cookware on a wet surface. Water droplets or pooled water between the kettle base and the glass surface may cause uneven heating and may damage the cookware base.
4. If you suspect liquid has entered the unit, or you notice an unusual odor (e.g., electrical burning smell), stop using immediately, unplug the unit, and contact customer service for inspection guidance.
